1. First, ensure you have a WP Mail SMTP Pro license, as the One-Click-Setup feature is only available with this version. Upgrade your account if necessary.
2. Next, install the WP Mail SMTP plugin.
Select Google / Gmail as Your Mailer
1. Navigate to WP Mail SMTP » Settings and click on the General tab.
2. Scroll down to the Primary Connection section and find the Mailer heading.
3. Select the “Google / Gmail” option.
4. Ensure your site is set up with SSL (https).
5. After selecting Google / Gmail, you will see additional authorization options. Toggle the One-Click Setup option to the ON position.
6. Click the “Save Settings” button at the bottom of the page. The page will reload, enabling access to the authorization settings.
Authorize Your Google Account with WP Mail SMTP
1. Once the page reloads, scroll to the Authentication section and click the Sign in with Google button.
2. You will be redirected to the Gmail login screen. Enter the details for the Gmail account you wish to use.
3. Grant WP Mail SMTP authorization by clicking the Allow button.
4. After authorization, you will be redirected back to the WP Mail SMTP settings page, where a success message will appear.
5. Scroll down to see the Gmail account you set up in the Authorization section.
